Greetings Pastors, Church Leaders, and United Methodists across Kentucky:

I am writing today on behalf of your Conference Administrative Teams and other Conference leadership with an announcement from the Conference Council on Finance & Administration (CFA) and Board of Pension & Health Benefits (BOP).

  • For Sundays in May 2020, CFA is resetting the Our Mission Covenant “ask” of local churches back to 11%. This ends CFA’s relief efforts related to March and April 2020.
  • For amounts due for June 2020, the BOP is waiving the monthly “church share” of health insurance for active plan participants. This is an extension of the BOP’s previous decision related to April and May 2020. In addition, beginning in July and continuing through September 2020, the BOP will waive CPP premiums.

I hope you will take 3 minutes to read this additional document for a fuller explanation and additional information related to the above actions.
